We’re nostalgic, sentimental, and nerdy about wood. We love finding new ways to use antique and abandoned elements. We admire the simplicity of old technology and the discipline and longevity of historic craftsmanship, and we have a passion for incorporating both into our work.
All of our products are handcrafted in our home in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania

Skippy Cotton
Location: Bloomfield, New JerseySkippy Cotton is Emma Mierop: an exceptionally imaginative, self-taught textile and paper-based artist, based in the Northern NJ/NYC area.
With a background in retail management and visual merchandizing, Emma began sharing her artwork on social media in 2017 under the moniker “Skippy Cotton”—a name she discovered on a typed piece of vintage ephemera. Quirky, lighthearted, and not-too-serious—it was perfect for her work. And so, like Ziggy Stardust was to David Bowie, Skippy Cotton soon was to Emma Mierop.
As Skippy Cotton has expanded and become an outlet for her growing collection of work, her whimsical creations have developed a devoted following, and she’s skillfully leveraged social media and production partnerships to scale her artistic practice in order to work with clients local and global. Her work can be seen in shops in her own hometown of Montclair, New Jersey, and as far as Copenhagen.

Location: Ilkeston, United KingdomI'm a mixed media artist and illustrator based on the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire border, in the UK. I work full time as an artist from my little home studio.
My work is heavily inspired by my love of walking and exploring, folklore, nature and history. I have been an artist full time for 9 years, but have had a pencil in my hand for as long as I can remember.
You can find a range of products in my shop from art and homewares, to clothing and stationery. Everything in my shop has been designed by me, and everything is my original artwork.

Twelve years ago, she set out to make the best lip balm she ever tried in her East Village kitchen. After she succeeded, Stewart & Claire was born.
Strike Gently Co.
Location: Los Angeles, CaliforniaIn 2015, determined to quit my job, I spent the last $500 I had on 100 custom pins of an all-black owl design. If I could find 100 people to buy them, I could recoup my costs and do two new releases. I used a lot of matches at the time so I stuck the pins in empty matchbooks as packaging — and ended up selling them all. My friend Louis suggested we call the company Strike Gently.
Since that first weird owl pin, we’ve released 1000+ products, and built a community of 1m+ followers and 500,000+ customers. We do everything in-house, from design to customer service.
Our pins are made with gold, silver or black-plated metals (either iron, nickel or zinc depending on the complexity of the design). Every pin is hand-filled with enamel. It's an intensive production process, and we only release/restock 95 pieces of each design at a time.
