Of Aspen works with artists near and far to offer a collection of unique goods to creatives. Notebooks, pens, mystery sets, and so much more, Of Aspen is always growing and bringing you the coolest finds from around the world.

Attention to detail is our thing, from working with the most talented creatives, and carrying the most spectacular supplies, to our packaging that's always wrapped like a present. You'll feel like you've found your home away from home, whether you're a Little Leaf online or in-store.

You're helping artists do what they love, and for that, we are all so grateful. There are no customers here, only friends supporting friends, and artists supporting artists.

Born in

With a special connection to Aspen, her birthplace, Caroline always wanted to incorporate the name into her life in a meaningful way.

"Either my dog, my kid, or my business, and this came first!"

Surrounded by mountains, with natural inspiration growing all around, the arts are alive and well in the valley. The name was fitting for an Artists Supporting Artists movement.

Yes, we have the perfect location, directly next to the post office, both the small store, and now our big store!

Mountain Mural Wall

Painted during a long night listening to ancient mythology podcasts, I wanted to tie my love of mountains into our newly renovated space.

I'm still very sentimental about this. While we were able to take the logo sign, the mountains had to stay when we moved.

Opening Day: Nov 21, 2020

Taken just minutes before a line wrapped down the block, our opening day was filled with so many nerves and much excitement.

At the time, I was still finishing up my final projects and exams for college, it was a busy but very rewarding time in my life!

Time to Move

The space was small and housed our retail experience AND our online inventory, we needed to expand quickly.

I remember the morning when FedEx dropped off 23 large boxes of journals that wouldn't fit inside. I had to unbox and carry handfuls of inventory inside, to the car, and to our storage units.

Swarthmore, Pennsylvania

Migration

In her hometown of Swarthmore, PA, Of Aspen needed a headquarters, a place to receive inventory, pack orders, and house thousands of items for both online & local shoppers.

Starting around the corner in the micro unit, Of Aspen quickly outgrew the first location and expanded down the block to 23 S Chester Rd, later absorbing the basement space and retail store next door to house the online boom of viral videos and online orders.

It still doesn't completely sink in that I work for myself. Almost 7 years and it still feels unreal. I managed to create a viable business where art is shared with the world, I just want to spread love and creativity and cool things, and that's my job!

What started as a dream of mine in high school, and became a more realistic fantasy in college, is something that is tangible and supporting me and 300 other artists every day. I am grateful for every one of you, thank you for helping me achieve this interesting life, every day is a new adventure.
