Have you ever wanted a piece of our whimsical store to come home with you? Now you can bask under the florals that kept us company at Of Aspen's retail store checkout counter. Each is made with watercolor paper and hand-painted, curled, layered and strung up into bundles to give them some motion.
_____
Contains:
- a set of five purple dangling florals
- a handful of white floppy dangling florals
- any remaining remnant pieces leftover from when we first created this display (ex: extra petals...)
- one matching Mini Moonlit Tuberose Spiral Notepad (Root & Branch)

Process:
We created flower stencils and cut about a ream of watercolor paper (about 500 sheets) into assorted petal shapes before laying everything out and doing a wash of purple watercolor paint. Some yellow cuffs for stems were made and curled, along with each petal until enough could assemble into a full flower shape. The process was repeated a few hundred times until the grand assembling commenced. Petals were strung up into the dangling bunches of purple florals you see here.

Tied with twine and rope, these were first hung in our front window display alongside Root & Branch's Moonlit Tuberose spiral notebooks to launch that new line for Of Aspen. They moved to our retail store checkout counter where they have lived a long and well-enjoyed life amongst our staff and customers. As we decorate for the next season at Of Aspen, the time for these handmade flowers has come to a close, and we're looking for a little leaf to adopt the bouquet for their own space, whether that be an office space, nursery, window nook, or gardening shed!
