A cup of tea, anyone?

Barn owls have many rituals, but none is more important than tea time at twilight. While some owls take their tea at daybreak, to settle in for a long day of sleep, barn owls drink tea at dusk to help focus their minds for the night of hunting ahead. Their favorite brew is a cider tea, created with cinnamon, ginger roots, cardamom, orange peel, and a hint of chocolate for good measure. Should you find yourself walking through the forest and smell the sweet aroma of cinnamon, look up into the treetops. You may spot a sacred tea brewing area, complete with teapots and cups galore hanging from the a tree’s twisting branches.
