About the Book from Jess:
The Woodland Homestead project started in March of 2020 when the pandemic hit, and the future felt uncertain. I wanted to focus on painting something fun and positive. I had been baking a lot, and my first thought was charming animals doing little chores in the kitchen. Each creature came with a story, and I would name them after someone in my family. At a time when we couldn’t really see anyone in person, it was a nice way to dwell on those I love and missed. When the Woodland Kitchen series was finished, I wanted to keep exploring this magical homestead. The Woodland Garden and Woodland Home focus on my other two favorite things in life: plants and my cozy house.
