Spring Wing Collection - Morpho Pen Pack

I was inspired by the wings of spring and wanted to incorporate them in a more abstract way, leading me to make pen packs based on the coloring of each creature. Whether used to sketch out their likeness or take notes on ornithology, these packs are filled with special pens that inspire your creativity to take flight! - Caroline

Although I've never seen a Morpho in person, I've often seen them in dreams. Floating softly in the dusk sky above, as if their wings were made of silk, Morphos are a great driver of action in dreams. Although seemingly peaceful, they call for attention from the viewer with their bright coloring as a voice yelling out to grasp your focus. Vivid and almost startling, their beauty cannot go unacknowledged; they are the peacocks of the garden, luring the gaze of onlookers by the plenty. I connect Morphos with goddess Hera, for their beauty only goes so far before their viewer turns to prey as they are poisonous! In actuality, they symbolize rebirth and transformation and are associated with the goddess Aphrodite, which can mean healing energy is coming for the viewer.
